and I found her giggling in pure joy under a canopy of pink blossoms.
Her name is Xia and it is her second visit to Vancouver from Chongqing, China.
This photo is a gift for her family.
She hugged me and thanked me with her beautiful smile.
Contributing to our community with our photography is important to us. So, when my friend Robin Toma Photography and I were asked to collaborate to create this group portrait for the Vancouver Trans and Gender-Variant Working Group, we were honoured to say YES!!

These folks from playwright Dave Deveau's new play 'The Lowest Common Denominator' were such fun. I wish I had more than 20 minutes with them to create these images for Xtra Vancouver. We could have gotten into some trouble!!

This was a day of celebration in many ways. Happy 1st birthday to you sweet Alexa.
What a lovely family and such good sports to play outside on a cold Vangroovy day. We had a lot of fun though and I adore these images we created together for Ellie's Mommas.
