Fogcouver

I met a poet recently and he asked, "Do you write?"
I replied, "Yes, but rarely, only when I am grieving or newly in love".
He said, "Yes, isn't that always the way."
I was invited to walk the Downtown Eastside in August with some of the Poets involved in The Low Down Project. The Project was curated by F.O.U.N.D. Spaces and featured beautifully stenciled lines from the artists poems.
I felt inspired after meeting them all and after hearing them read their own words.
I was thrilled when author Amber Dawn asked me to create 2015 promo images for her.
One of these beautiful images we created together will be used on the back of her new book jacket. Amber Dawn's new book of poetry will be revealed Spring of 2015!!

The Super Moon on September 7th was in Pisces. I didn't have a long enough lens to capture it in all it's glory. Instead my Pisces heart chose to stay close to the Ocean and capture it's beauty
This one is dear to my heart. It's not often you see beautiful portraits of elders on the COVER of my community newspaper.
IT TAKES A TEAM!!
Thanks to Robin Toma Potography and Maylies Lang Photography for assisting on the shoot.
