The view from my window
/This seems to be the beginning of a photo series of sunsets from my living room window.

My first Folk Fest in over 10 years and it was AWESOME!!!
I admit it. I'm infatuated with the Henry Wagons from the Rockabilly Band Wagons. He was an incredibly dynamic performer as you can see from the many many photos I took of him. :)
It's been awhile since I celebrated Solstice in the presence of fire. It was needed.
Gay Vancouver.net wrote a wonderful feature on me and I used the F-Word. Sorry Mom.

I love photographing intimate weddings. My first wedding of 2014 was at Trout Lake in East Vancouver. Surrounded by only their immediate families my two brides looked beautiful against the lush spring back drop.
Sarah-Nelle and Aislin found me via the 'A Bicycle Built for Two' blog which featured one of my weddings. Currently living in Calgary, the two met in East Van and wanted to exchange their vows here. After the ceremony we grabbed coffees at Turks and took a leisurely stroll down the Drive doing portraits. My fav moment was the street vendor who congratulated them and gave them both flowers. It was a lovely day.
I headed home to the Kootenays last month for a holiday but I couldn't help picking up my camera to photograph two Nelson families that I adore.
Life partners Makena and Mr. E.
This little one's life is filled with adventures exploring the beautiful Kootenay mountains and lakeshores with his Mama.
The Phoenix family, who I adore. These loving and compassionate people welcomed me into their arms seven years ago and I feel very fortunate to call them family.
Last nights Sunset Chase lesson: be open to a different perspective.
Because if you are willing to change your viewpoint, you just might discover magic.
21 fabulously attired singers, 3 hair stylists, 3 makeup artists, 2 wardrobe stylists, 2 set stylists, 3 shoot assistants and one photographer. That is what it took to create this image of Vancouver's classically trained Choir Cor Flammae.
This shoot was a milestone for me as it was the most people I've ever photographed in one sitting!!
What a wonderful experience it was to be a member of Team Flammae.
Go Team Flammae !!
