Welcome to the Family || Vancouver Family Photographer

When I arrived his parents were behind schedule and still getting ready. I usually do newborn sessions in my clients home for this reason. New parents are tired and have more important things to focus on in the first few weeks.
I had the job of holding him while they were getting ready and I was completely overjoyed.
It was hard to put him down to be honest.
The way they looked at him during their session melted my heart.
I asked if they spend hours just staring at him and they both agreed it was their new favorite past-time.

3 Generations || Vancouver Family Photographer

A regular headshot client of mine (pictured far right) contacted me to do a special family portrait with his aunt.
Helen is 91-years-young and she is pictured here with her nieces and nephew, great nieces and nephews and her great-great nephew. As you can imagine, this studio session was ridiculously fun.
The reveal appointment with them was also hilarious! The whole family came to see the slideshow I had prepared from their session.
They all chose to have a print made of this portrait. I’m sure they will enjoy this wonderful portrait for many years.
What a wonderful gift to give your family.

Donald Cooper || Vancouver Headshot Photographer

Last summer I donated a headshot session to the McLaren Housing Society Annual Sparkle Party fundraiser. I donate portrait sessions to a few non-profits throughout the year and Physician Donald Cooper won a session with me.
We headed to Granville Island this past fall. I love photographing on the Island because of the colours and textures.
Donald was so happy with the portraits he actually had me make prints for Christmas presents. His family was overjoyed to have these new handsome portraits of him.

3 Generations || Vancouver Family Photographer

Caroline contacted me because she wanted Christmas portraits of her children and grandchildren.
My assistant and I brought a portable studio to the families home and we photographed 6 adults and 5 children. As you can imagine pandemonium and hilarity ensued.
Here are a few of my favorite moments from my time with this lovely family.

Caroline chose to display her session portraits in the heirloom Memory Box.
The Memory Box is a unique way to display her portraits, and she can rotate them each day on the sweet easel that is included.

Granville Island Maternity Session || Vancouver Family Photographer

Meenu and Ally wanted an urban feel to their maternity session. They arrived dressed in black leather jackets and I took them to my favorite places on Granville Island that have a slightly edgier look to them.
Both these two are dog lovers so when a couple walked by with their new puppy I just had to borrow Wallace for a few minutes and we had a puppy love fest.
Meenu is due in Feburary and we are doing ‘Watch Me Grow’ sessions throughout the babies first year, culminating in a beautiful hand-bound heirloom album with their favorites from each session

Lazy Gourmet || Vancouver Headshot Photographer

Lazy Gourmet is celebrating 40 years in business and needed a few staff headshots updated for their new website. I shoot a lot of events and often see these folks taking care of the the delicious catering. I was hoping for leftovers during this shoot on location at their business, but alas, I only managed to ‘borrow’ a bottle of water.

Fine Art for Families || Vancouver Family Photographer

I offer my families gorgeous professionally printed portrait albums.
The albums are printed and hand-bound in Vancouver and I lovingly design each album, creating a story for my families with their session portraits.
Portraits are mounted on a rigid plastic core for long-lasting durability from inquisitive little fingers. Albums are available with a full cover or a sweet cameo portrait window.
Your children will love looking through 'their' albums.

Portraits displayed in the home enhance a child's feeling of being a loved and valued part of their family.
Wall print art is ready for you to frame, or let me take care of everything and I will deliver your finished, framed portraits to your home.

I searched for some time for a beautiful, functional and quality designed portrait box for my clients and I finally found it!!
This lovely box is made from solid wood and lined with felt to project portraits for generations.
It comes with 10 - 5x7" portraits matted on thick durable mats and the sweetest matching easel to display them on.
