This is the 2nd year I've photographed some of my clients' children participating in the Exceleration Triathlon Day.
It was mayhem running around trying to capture photos of all these cuties in their different heats.
This year there were 3 Toddler heats!! I need to start training now for next year.

Vancouver's had a wacky winter and there was still snow on the ground. We should have made a Snowman!
I usually let the kids direct the family session. We stop occasionally for posed portraits, but for the most part, I let them run the show. It's playful that way, and they always show me magical places I haven't seen through my adult eyes.
My regular assistant was unavailable the day of his family session and Mr. Cutie here did an excellent job filling in as my mini photo assistant.

Every fall we meet at the Jericho Beach pond bridge and recreate this sweet portrait from 2014.
This Dapper gentleman travels everywhere with his truck so of course we had to include it in the session.

I love photographing at Kitsilano’s Jericho Beach Park in the fall. The air is crisp, the leaves are glorious and the kids have so much fun running around and playing in the leaves.
